Becoming my own boss: A Mum's Blind Journey

From sweet giggles to sleepless nights, my life as a mum is filled with joyful chaos. While I was pregnant there was either too much or too little information out there for mums, friends and family or mums. I want to help all future mums out there be more prepared than I was.
Why?
There are hundreds of Facebook groups that have thousands of members but the information can be opinionated, outdated and hard to find. Dr Google has too much information out there and can cause unwanted and unneeded stress.
Even if there is the information out there, it is not easily linked to affordable Australian products. So I thought I would create a website that did both.
Getting Started
I struggled with finding a name and even though the business name "Vencha Micha" does not have those catch words that tell you what the business is or help with search engines, it is a personal name that i want to see grow.
My first, and my last, doll I ever had was this ugly, 1 metre long red headed pale white doll my mum got me. She asked me "What do you want to name her?" and without a hitch I say "Vencha Micha". Now it is not spelt phonetically, rather for eye appeal. It is pronounced "Vencha" like "Venture" but "Micha" is "Mike-A".

Building the Website
I have a Bachelors in Law and a Masters in Business, and I have learnt how to create a website, learn what SEO, API, CDN, UI, IA any many more terms meant. Oh and apparently now I can code! Trying to find a spare hour or two while working and raising my child as a FIFO (Fly in Fly out) wife is more rare than finding eggs in the supermarkets. But it does happen!
I have had the unwavering support from my husband, my friends and my family to pursue this and see where the next few months and years take me! I also thankfully have a community of mums helping me with my website content and information so that what I upload is not biased or too opinionated.
What's next?
You will
have to wait and see!
Follow along on this wild and unknown journey with me!
